I so enjoyed your wonderful story - this is my second time reading it and since I watched the Initiative Arc recently, it added more to my enjoyment of the piece

Don't know if you are working with The Buffyverse still, if now, I hope that you are still writing.

I very much enjoyed reading your fine story and hope that you did add those couple of one-shots - your story is perfect for doing short additions.

I loved your use variation of Willow's spell and your resolution to all the anger and hatred the characters had for Spike in the series.

omg that was awesome! LMAO i laughed, i cried, i screamed silently in my head. this was one of the best stories i've ever read and i'm REALLLY REALLLY hating myself for not starting sooner! i pulled an all night marathon and stayed up all night to read this! i seriously love you right now and can't wait to start a new one tonight!! seriously though....balled buckets over the last few chapters. and OMG that Angel ending was hilarious!!! Cordy was a bit more bitchy than usual, but hell! wouldn't u be? would've loved to have seen how things progressed with Tara and Willow but i already know so i'm good. now i'm really freakin' tired and i'm going to sleep. knowing me, i'll probably dream of Spike!

I liked the development of the characters through this story. I was glad to see Cordy and Angel go back to LA because I didn't enjoy their part in this story. I couldn't understand why Buffy would try to stab Spike with a knife when she thought all was lost. While it would have been mean - still being a vampire - it wouldn't have dusted him - it seems to me it should have been a stake. Anyway thanks for writing this and for all the hard work you put into it!

Author's Response: I am sorry you didn't enjoy the story. I curious as to why you continued to read the story if you didn't like its development, but I suspect you were asked to for some reason or another. I chose a knife because it was only a half-hearted attempt on Buffy's part - being at her wits end as she was. Stakes, IMO, rarely have the piercing power that a blade does - regardless if that is what they protrayed in the series. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review!

This was an amazing read from start to finish. Thank you so much for writing it I have not read such a good Spuffy fic in such a long time. You handled all the character brilliantly without stereotyping and I truly liked the tentative friendship you developed with Spike and Xander. Riley is a character alot of fic writers push into the standard evil or goofy and don't try to play with him and I just loved the final twist you gave him it was brilliant. Spike and his predicament with the chip was excellently done moving for comedy to pathos and back again! Thank you for a superb read I really cannot tell you how awesome I think this fic is! Amazing stuff ^_^

Author's Response: WOW! THANK YOU! (did I get enough capital letters there?) I hate angst of the unresolved sort so I had to soften the whole thing with comedy (hopefully I did that) and tried to make a Spuffy ending, `cause I can't stand an UNhappy one. I'm glad you liked the story as it is near and dear to my heart. In a couple weeks go back and read it again, it'll be changed a bit as I re-edit chapters and clean it up, since I had no beta in the beginning. Thank you, so much OMG - you had me smiling for a LONG time!

And how nice is that she went 'shopping' for a couple of hours - giggles. Don't think many parents would do that for their daughter, heheheheeheh. I loved every enticing chapter of this boo, so funny and sad and yes, even gripping my seat at times when things were looking bad. YAY, you finished it up - and now... more HB, mwhahahahha.
