This ended nicely, but I wish we'd been able to see how they got together romantically.

Wow! This was unlike anything I've ever read before. You have such a vivid imagination and an incredible knack for writing. Truly fantastic! So much detail put into only two chapters!

Glad Spike finally got his happy ending, but I can't help wondering why Buffy allowed the Initiative to get so out of hand.

Author's Response: In my world the Initiative was a huge and openly known organisation. There was no way that Buffy could take that on. Plus to be honest, she was more concerned with trying to have as normal a life as possible. Maybe now Spike is with her they could plot a little revenge...?

Great story. Lots of angst and pain but very well written. I once again got pissed off at Buffy for not helping Spike when she first saw him. Maybe she felt that she couldn't get him out. But she didn't even try. Makes me want to hurt Buffy even more. I was a little upset with Jerry as well. Although, he treated Spike ok he still seem to treat Spike like a thing. But I guess he was just afraid of what will happen to him if he didn't. Plus, Jerry done good by calling Buffy to get Spike out of there. I knew Jerry cared for Seventeen. So, I wasn't mad at Jerry as much as I was with Buffy. One thing that you didn't say is if Jerry and Spike had a relationship after the rescue. I could both see it happening and not. Happy that Spike got his sight back even if it is 100 percent. Very good story. I think the only story that I really didn't care for is the evil twin Spike. Not so much because of the torture or that it wasn't a happy ending. But that might be a little part of it. But mostly for not being able to picture Spike doing some of those things even when he was evil. At least not to another Spike. Maybe to someone else but not to another Spike. That is just the way I feel though. So, didn't really care for that story. But I think I like the rest that you have on here. So, keep up the good writing.

I just felt that Buffy would feel unable to do anything about so large an organisation and unlike the show - it was out in the open - not secret. Jerry tried his best for Spike but he was just doing his job. Jerry certainly didn't have a relationship with Spike - he cared for him but as a friend. As for the evil TwinSpike fic - the thing to remember is that the twin wasn't Spike - he looked like him and shared his memories but he, as we quite clearly see, wasn't like Spike at all. :D Check out my lj for more fics - most are slashy tho. Really enjoyed this story, well written and full of angst although hated what happened to Spike & disappointed that Buffy didn't rescue him when she first found him, but altogether a great read

I want to say first that I love your stories. Yeah, you do torture my vampire, Spike, all the time. But your stories do show how the Initiative could have gone. Which it is very believable. At least in my opinion. But The first chapter to this story just blew my mind. What a very interesting start. Of course my heart broke for my Spike. I always felt that The Initiative were cruel bastards. They must have felt like very good people and catching demons. Saving people and such. But good people don't torture if they don't have to. If they wanted to keep humans safe from demons then they should have just kill demons. So, I almost saw them worst than the demons. Just reading about what happen to Spike makes me want to cry. They took away his sight and his beautiful blue eyes. They took away his thumbs. He can't speak normal. He seems almost like a machine. A vampire/machine sort of thing. At least Spike is being brave about it. I guess he doesn't have much of a choice. I'm also a little mad at Buffy for going along with The Initiative. She knew that they treating vampires like this. Maybe, not to the extent on how bad. But she knew what was happening and let it. I can understand the need for her to want to have normal life. But she shouldn't have never let The Initiative treat vampires like that and other demons. It just isn't right. I just hope Buffy realizes that she could have done something about this a long time ago but chose to ignore it so she can have a normal life. I'm not worry about if Buffy is with someone else right now because I'm concern for Spike right now and this is a Spuffy site. I know it will be Spuffy eventually if she is with someone else. I don't know if I like the idea of Buffy having kids. I guess it is because I don't want a lot of the story to focus on her kids. At least not with Spike needing help. But it does show Buffy really living her normal life. Which I can't fault anyone for wanting to have kids but it still makes me a little mad at Buffy. I hope you update soon. Please........

Her eyes have been opened now and so what, if anything, will she do to help Spike? Looking forward to hearing what you think of the final part.

Oh my gosh! I think you have taken H/C to a whole new level. And I can't see any happy ending here. Buffy is in a relationship, and Spike's eyes and thumbs aren't going to grow back. My beautiful vampire! Sheesh. So of course I'm hooked.
