Dang, it's getting good. So sad when I came to the end of the chapter! First of all, it was sweet to see them getting closer together. But I am totally siding with Buffy, I am surprised she was not MORE pissed off and hurt because Spike was jumping to Dru's defense. Actually I'm surprised he's not more hurt himself considering all his years of devotion.

It was also nice to see Willow and Xander thrown in the mix with them missing Buffy. I'm sure they'd be mostly supportive of her vampire status and could use them. Poor Willow! What the heck is Dru up to? Can't wait until the next chapter.

yay! updates thank you. it was amazing i love the story has developed! omg that was so mean of dru though - poor spike and his burnt mouth/face. You can see the developing feelings already as buffy gives him her own blood to help him heal! Also great compromise – spike is still able to feed (I much more prefer him having his balls ie not giving in to pigs blood just because buffy is a little upset about his feeding needs) and buffy is happy as her pesky ‘no killing’ rule is met. And about the end – oh no! I hope angel and xander wont arrive in time to see buffy feeding from spike (even though we know its not bad – they will totally freak!!) lol love your stories! more please more

Author's Response: Dru is rotten isn't she? Even though it was mean, this horrible way, I felt it isn't used very much. Yes, remember this is pre unhurt Buffy. she is more understanding then the war-torn Buffy of post-Angel. thank you so much that you love my stories. all reviews, especially ones like these make my day and feeds my inner muse until she is nice and fat!!!!

Great to see the plot picking up with Drusilla's cunning. I liked Buffy and Spike working things out, though I wish Spike realized that Buffy has a right to be as jealous of Drusilla as he has of Angel wanting Buffy. Besides, Drusilla murders children and the Slayer is supposed to protect people, and Spike seems to be ignoring that.

I liked this chapter and look forward to finding out about Dru's spell. Will Spike agree with her, or realize she's just using him and can't really care for him?

Author's Response: well jealousy doesn't make anyone see straight....ever! remember it took spike until season five to see that dru didn't care for him anymore and was using him!

That was incredibly cruel of Drusilla. I know she's a vampire, but seriously that was terrible! Poor Spike. If I was Buffy, I would have thought be was playing a trick on me too! Loved the scene where she finally brings him in the house. But now what is Drusilla up to! Poor Willow, hope nothing bad happens to her.

Uh-huh Dru really did a number on Spike. Poor Spike. But the Slayer's blood should help him heal. But Dru's plans will cause more pain if she isn't stopped.

Author's Response: that she did. Even though the gang always worried about spike and angelus, they never gave dru her props. She was evil and insane, bad combo

I wondered why Spike had so much influence on Buffy when this was a claim that goes both ways. But Buffy showed Spike that she has as much influence on him that he has on her. :D
I think Buffy will have trouble to stay away from Spike because of the claim; but we'll see what will happen now with Giles' plans.

Author's Response: He has more influence since he has had over 100 years to hone his manipulation capabilities. He just knows how to use any and all things to his advantage

And the plot thickens! I'd be so pissed off if I was Buffy. One thing to make a claim in full knowledge but she was totally out of her mind. So if she gets some of his weaknesses, does he get some of her weaknesses. And how about strengths, will he be less sensitive to light? So hooked to this story!

Enjoyed seeing her demonstrate dominance instead of being so weak don't care to see either of them weak. Hope Spike finds a way to toss Dru over.
