Buffy can be such a judgmental bitch most of the time. Geez....Spike is love's bitch. I hope Buffy is feeling like shit right now cause she really should be. I hope Spike doesn't lose his concentration in battle and wind up getting hurt because of our favorite bitchy heroine. Then again, Buffy will have to offer up some of her slayer blood again. Hmmm... Love your story. Glad to hear you are going to be updating your others.

Author's Response: SpikesGirl, I blush! I've received so many wonderful reviews from everyone and yours is no different. And what I've learned from my break, is if you want to share a story, share it. Don't let self-doubt or reservations stop you. Enough of preaching! As for Buffy, yeah she is judgemental. Part of me can completely understand, the other part...not so much. But it's hard not to be judgmental when everyone she relies on are. Xander, Giles, even Willow. My other stories will be updated, but unfortunately I can't say when.

So glad you're back. This chapter was a well=learned lesson. Love how you're building them together.

When I thought that Spike killed the human I'd thought all was lost, regarding Buffy trusting Spike. Good to know that the human is still alive - and it changed Buffy's mind.
Yes, Spike needs to feed but killing humans (that Buffy thinks as innocents) won't do with the slayer that protects humans.

Author's Response: Thanks Cordy! Yeah, even though he did at the beginning, Spike has started to change and he knew Buffy wouldn't be too happy him killing. But, on the same token, Buffy is starting to accept he is a vampire that needs to feed, but will not kill. Compromise is needed for these two to be able to work together

Yup, Spike's a vampire. Vampires drink blood. This shouldn't have come as a surprise to Buffy... however the situation forced her to acknowledge her own judgemental attitude towards him. Wonder where he's been dragged off to before he's fully healed...

loved the update... as expected, Buffy was feeling angry at him - she thought he had a choice at feeding - but she jumped to the conclusion too soon. and now the apology did not come and it was already too late by the time they dragged him away again.
i hope the chill between them shall warm up again when he comes back...hopefully he'll want to listen to her anyway.. :)
