Oh William's POV. Interesting to compare them both, so there was a misunderstanding.

Author's Response: Thank you. Definitely trying to delve into his mindset.

Yay, another chapter so soon! You really have an ear for their banter; I loved the "girls dressing like boys" exchange.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I just see her so doing that just to be active and ugghh corsets are pretty but mighty uncomfortable.

I liked how you showed us William's perspective on what's happened with Buffy even as we learn about his life and thoughts. the writing about issues of the day like the labor laws was a very nice touch. The comparison to the freedom of the mask ball also makes the rudeness in not introducing or even looking at the person to whom you are speaking make a lot of sense and fit William's personality.

I love how William was able to tease Buffy, and banter back with their 'conditions' to go dance together. I can't wait to see more of them! Thank you for updating.

Author's Response: Thank you. The mask was in a way brought on by how folks change personalities sometimes at conventions when they wear a costume. You made my day commenting on the issues, my research. William is a modern thinker and Elisabeth makes him not ashamed of who he is.

That was too cute and sweet. I enjoy her talk of William to only discover she was talking to him. The innocence and interaction was so well done.

Author's Response: Thank you. I really wanted to capture the Jane Austen innocence thing and the fact that they're both innocent at the time.

Elizabeth just may get the starch out of William's knickers so that he may enjoy pursuing her. This chapter was really nice to read leading up to their awkward moment. William is really holding himself to standards that are impossibly high for him to court any woman, but with Elizabeth's free spirited ways, he just might be able to break out of the mold to savor a courtship. Look forward to more.

Author's Response: Thank you. Buffy's memories may be gone but the modern girl is still there. You will see the effect on him that she has continue to grow. You'll see some of Spike come out to play.
