Another great chapter. Poor Spike trying to be romantic and still not quite getting it, but his words to Buffy before she left the cemetary were perfect. Buffy running from love is expected, one can only hope she will finally see that Spike really and truly loves her.

Loved that chapter as well. Spike's romantic gesture was a very cute idea.

"Apparently the romantic approach wasn't going to work with Buffy after all…" Can't say that Spike's plan going all haywire wasn't a surprise, but moments like that make you want to laugh and cry, at the same time. How we all just want it to work! And the bit about Dawn talking him out of the chains, love how that added to the continuity of the "real Buffyverse." Loved the chapter. And looking forward to the next update!

i love your work!! you're such a talented writer...so that's why it's so amazing that you can pull a story like this updating almost daily and why we can wait a lot also for the next update!! so thanx so much for dedicating your time to please us ;) anyhow about the story...love that you're not making things so simple for them cos...buffy is not a simple woman...actually quite stubborn and melodramatic...lol ;) terrific chapter!! poor spike ;) she should be the one groveling not him ;)

loved it but i just feel like slapping some sense into buffy so she can go with her feelings for spike and not worry about him being souless

Grrr, Buffy's always stupid when i comes to Spike, but really, this is even worse. At least Dawn knows what's good for the couple.

I just wanted to add.... I think you're going a great job, bc I think everyone else is being a little hard on Buffy, just like some were during season 6. I mean, granted, yes, we all know Spike loved her, but the fact of the matter is he WAS still soulless, and thus evil, to a certain degree, so Buffy is (and was) right to feel conflicted over it. I wish she had treated him a little nicer at times, yeah, but I still don't fault her for it. And this is coming from a hardcore Spike fan.... So I guess what I'm trying to say in this long-winded review is to keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing a great job and staying tru to the show. I have faith you'll make it all work out, though I don't mind the angst in between at all.

It's so sad but Buffy is so predictable. I wonder when she'll work out that if ehr feelings have hung on past the book, then just maybe Spike's are genuine too.

I like they are out of the book but hope you don't fill it all with angst. I'd like something... once in a while to work out so they can continue to fall for each other.

Poor Spike. I hate it when I feel sorry for Spike. And I hate it when Buffy is so pigheaded, but they wouldn't be them if they weren't this way.
