I'm glad that he decided to face her even after everything that happened. I totally understand Buffy's hesitation in wanting to get involved with him in any capacity. Though I'm hoping that she changes her mind. It was so heartbreaking but they have to start from somewhere, right? I can only guess that Parker's icky presence spells trouble. The pig. i love this story and this was another excellent chapter, i love the fact that you put phrases and stuff from season seven in, it was really sweet, I'm glad that he is trying to change and get her forgivness and i am also glad that you didn't have her just throw herself into his arms, this story is really realistic and i think that just adds to its goodness! please update soon

Didn't think it would be 8 months later, but this is good. Now a lot of time has passed which means Spike had plenty of time to get better. It looks like rehab has helped him and I hope he won't decide to go back on the drugs, but you said this wasn't supposed to be a long story, so I'm thinking that might be the end of it. Well, update as soon as you can. I must know what happens with them=)

Very nice (sad, but nicely done) hurt acknowledged, lack of trust acknowledged but with the hope to rebuild and possible friendship acknowledged. After 8 months of being alone on both sides, I hope they CAN start over as they should of started originally, learn about each other, build a friendship/relationship and then IF something comes up later, perhaps they will both have the strength to stop it together before it ruins both their lives (I'm not sure Buffy's come to terms with her father and that past yet, let alone everything that's gone on between S & B). An excellent chapter to set up what hopefully will lead to trust and love. More please.
