Can I squee? Seriously so far this story is beyond squee worthy. Spike is actually being the big bad he was meant to be, Buffy's not the powerful, confident, high and mighty bitch she usually was...yet she's still got some brass in her. Now I'm getting nervous, please don't make Spike 'punk out', let him stay the dominate one. I like Buffy 'spunky' but Spike still needs to put her in hr place. When she punched him he should have retaliated right then and there. I know, I know this is your fic and I love it :), but I would be greatly disappointed if when it's all said and done, Buffy 'domesticates' Spike.

Another great chapter. I had hoped that Spike wouldn't get 'neutered' any anyway, BUT I am pleasantly surprised with how easily I got over it. Him drinking blood from the bag is ok, least it's human to some degree. Would have been nicer if he fed but not killed humans...lol. I am still loving this and I get the sense that Buffy will be gagging for him soon enough and 'she' will be chasing after him, and I am sooooo looking forward to that.

As much as I have been enjoying this story, I have to say this chapter left me rolling my eyes at the screen and angered by Buffy's nerve...also by the fact that yet again, Spike is going against his nature to appease her, even though 'he's' in the right, and she's undeserving. Buffy, much like canon, belittled him, disrepected him, made him look weak as a master vampire. And just when I thought there was some progress in their relationship, I'm smacked with the reality that Buffy probably will never trust nor believe in Spike, and nothing's really changed. At this point, I'm all for Spike's demon taking over and choking Buffy out, seriously these tantrums of hers are getting old. Willow is looking more and more like a better choice of a mate for William the Bloody, because she's reasonable with a kind patient, adult rational. Buffy just seems like a brat, stomping her foot and pouting when she can't get her way. Wow I didn't realize until I got that all out how much this chapter got to me :) Ok I'm done ranting and I shall keep an open mind as I continue reading your future chapters. But in all honestly I'm enjoying the Willow/Lucian relationship moreso than Spuffy, because their's seem to be going somewhere interesting.
Author's Response: I agree whole heartedly that she is being a brat. One that needs to be taken in hand and told a thing or two, but Spike, William the Bloody though he may be, has his heart too invested to go back to having things as horrid as they were. Yes this is a set back, but he knows that she does care for him and he knows that when Hannah is proven guilty Buffy will come around. Yes they still need to deal with her not accpeting his demon, but that takes time. It took Buffy forever in BtVS to accpet loving one of the evil undead. I know she is irritating, I hated buffy in the show at times, but I really feel she would still grasp at this "proof" that he has not changed. As for Willow and lucian, glad you are enjoying them. I agree, they are certainly not nearly as dysfunctional as buffy and Spike, but then again, they haven't been through nearly as much. It's good to know you've been reading this story. Summary: Hank Summers is the head of the Summers Mafia which is based in L.A. William “Spike” Giles is the co-leader for his family’s mafia branch in L.A. as well while his dad, Rupert Giles is at the head base in England. Hank and Spike need to alliance against the other two main mafias. Spike takes an interest in Hank’s oldest daughter Elizabeth Summers a.k.a. Buffy. In exchange for loyalty between the two men Spike demands for Buffy to be his mistress maybe even possible wife and Hank agrees. What will Buffy do when she is forced over to a man she thinks is just as horrible as her father and she is left to lead the life of a mafia leader’s mistress. Spike is intrigued by her innocence with mix of her stubborn streak and a mouth that seems to always put him in his place.
