Even tortured Spike is alive and should go better. I hope Buffy's feeling is wrong and nothing will go wrong, Spike still be there if she comes back.

So Buffy decided to run again instead of asking Spike. Well seems somebody has taken this decision from her now. *wonders if Spike will smell Buffy's blood and notice she was there*.

Loved the mother/daughter talk. Joyce had a good eye for Buffy's condition too. Good advice, I hope Buffy will take it to her heart.

*phew* The chapter ended better than it started - at last Spike knows now who's the father of the baby. But there's still Faith in the game.

I'm glad that Spike decided to trust Buffy and think twice about Arabella. She's a clever liar indeed. And looks good when crying? Wow...
Ah the little animals again. I wonder if that has something to do with Hope? I don't know how she could do it but maybe she sensed that Buffy is there to help. It's her job to protect the innocent; Hope still is that, I think.
Div'vid thinks that Arabella isn't there anymore? Normally I would be glad but I fear then Buffy and Spike are gone too. Yet the found what they came for! The pendent opened the way, right?

Oh therefore the world was like Disney's for Buffy. That makes a lot of sense. Same for Arabella. She'll have a lot of running to do now. Reminds me of the bad stepmom in one (of Grimm's) fairytales where the bad stepmom had to dance till death. So she (Arabella) was responsible for sending Hope away too, all the time. ~ Unexpected twist with Dawn; loved it.
Kind of Spike to leave the lockets; a chance for Arabella to go home.

And Joyce said once that she'll get them (her children) back if she marries.. I can't see her doing this, not visiting them in six month.
Buffy was right, Spike did appreciate her birthday gift very much :))
It made Spike sad too to think of the time when they are out of the attic because he thinks they can't continue like that. Though the promise she made him did help him a bit but not much. We'll see how it ends... we haven't heard anything yet why their grandfather reacted that way when he saw Spike and Buffy. Anyway, looking forward to the next part.

Oh my; poor Connor. That sounds very bad (serious). Not sure if he'll survive but I hope. Joyce? She doesn't deserve her children any longer, she's an awful mother now.
