I've been following this fic from the beginning, although I can't remember if I've reviewed (bad reader!). I've really been enjoying it, and I'm so happy that you have moved so slowly and didn't just make them jump into bed and have sex, because that would have been ridiculous. It's been realistic, as far as I know, and I really appreciate that.

I'm so happy that Spike went back to Giles to get some help. And it's great that he let Buffy tell her mom about him and didn't perpetuate the misunderstanding about what happened with Faith. I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I love how slowly you're taking Spike's recovery.

I can't speak for anyone else's attention span, but I like for stories to be long when they need to be, and I feel like this one needed to be, so that Spike could start recovering realistically. I'm so glad that he and Buffy didn't just have magic sex that healed him instantly.

Buffy is putting her own emotions second to support Spike, and it's good Giles pointed that out. They need to be equals, a real couple. And how lucky they are starting out a relationship with a therapist! Most of us don't get help until things are going bad!

I've really enjoyed reading this story, although I'm sure you're getting a bit sick of it. But I've had a great time. Thank you!

I've been one of those irritating readers who doesn't review, but I'll try to correct that now! I really like this story. It's not pleasant; it's dark, and gritty, and there's an (almost?) insurmountable age difference. But it's great to have some darkness in with all the fluff. I've got to go back and reread to recall the plot details, but there's nothing wrong with having plot, either! I think some people don't have the patience for plot, especially if there's a while between updates.

I don't know if I've reviewed before, but I've really been enjoying this story. Buffy's behavior is so in character, because, beyond being the Slayer, she did turn into a rather weak-willed person. And now she has to go face her parents, and we all know that won't end well! Maybe she could at least call Spike, even if she can't come see him?

Ooh, so happy to see another chapter! I feel bad for poor Will, though. I wish he'd confess, or Liam would give Buffy a clue, because otherwise he's in for some heartbreak. I also wanted to say that I'm impressed that you put William on medication for his anxiety, instead of having him just "grow out of it." Because his introversion and social problems seemed pretty serious, and deserved to be dealt with seriously. (Not a big serious plot point, but with respect, I mean.)

This was really interesting! Being a Spuffy romantic, I've decided that they stay together and compromise and go to Sunnydale and piss off Angel. But if you want to write a sequel, I won't be complaining!
