I am so intrigued by this story. I really love it so far and I have been checking every day to see if you had updated yet....I will now greedily beg for another update again soon!
Summary: Begins after ''Hell's Bells'' (S6E16). With the aftermath of the wedding-that-wasn't, Buffy finds Spike, and seeks solace with the vampire. Despite the recent ending of their relationship of sorts, it brings Buffy out of the land of denial, and forces her to admit her true feelings for him. Season 6 finishes up pretty much canon, only non-canon is the Spuffy relationship, which I tweaked (otherwise, it would've been the same as the show, and, well, you've already watched that...) also non-canon main character death! YES! Sorry, death scenes make me enthusiastic... Also, an interesting twist of ''Normal Again'' tweaked to my liking... Enjoy :]

Thank you so much for giving your Spike some self esteem and letting him LEAVE! I am all for love and devotion, but I hate when Spike just stays and continues to take any kind of poor treatment from Buffy. I love it that he walked away for a change.

I love that Xander was so great about everything...as he should be. I appreciate when authors keep the show's main characters believable and "in character" but still likable by highlighting their good qualities. (Sadly kind of the opposite of what the show's writers seemed to do those last few seasons.) Except Angel..I don't care if he's likable. Lol. ;-)
I admit sometimes it's fun when one of them is "the bad guy" and I imagine it is fun to wriite them that way at times, but I like the positive spin in this story very much.

Why have they not seen each other in all these years...Spike is human-why, how exactly did it happen...is he happy being human....did he just come back or has he been back...Who the heck is Buffy married to...why did she ask Spike to hold her when she knew it could cause trouble with the hubby...I look forward to finding all this stuff out! :-)
One little quirk for me...I groaned at the dark hair, lol. Spike just has to be blonde for me. Doesn’t have to be platinum bleached but Spike with dark hair to me is...ugh. Just. Not. Spike. (Don't even get me started on the Angel episode on the submarine. Eww.) So I will just pretend Spike has dark blonde hair here. Am I allowed to do that? ;-) Can we compromise? Lol.
