I just popped in for a re-read of this pair of stories and loved them this time around as much as I did the first time.

Can't help wishing for another sequel. I want to hear about events in the original Sunnydale without Buffy & Spike. How is Dawn coping with BabyGracie? I want to know about Buffy & Spike's life in AltSunnydale with their baby. Do Willow and Tara figure out where Buffy & Spike have gone and work to reopen the portal? Does Dawn come to visit? Do Buffy & Spike ever find their way back to the original Sunnydale? So many questions....

I'm relieved to see it ended better than the prequel (at last in my eyes), with them being together now.

Oh I loved it, Buffy is pregnant I wonder when he will find out.

*phew* The chapter ended better than it started - at last Spike knows now who's the father of the baby. But there's still Faith in the game.

So sad... because of her jealousy Buffy didn't ask. And Spike didn't notice her clue (5 by 5). .... *sigh*
I hope someone can set their heads straight soon.

I was wondering what happened to this story.

Love this new chapter but I'm upset with Buffy. Buffy is so stupid sometimes. Instead of asking Spike about Faith when she saw what she did she just assumed that they were together. But of course the thought never occur in her head that Spike needed blood badly and that Faith was just offering him some. Now she has a chance to ask Spike about it but doesn't when she is pregnant with his baby. I really don't blame Spike for thinking that she doesn't care that he is back or that she is over him.

I hope they get back together soon. I would hate it if Spike missed out on Buffy's prenancy and his kid's life.

Can't wait for more

Author's Response: The problem is that Buffy feels dreadfully guilty and like so many of us, when she feels guilty, she blames the person who is making her feel like that! Also, raging hormones kicking in! But let's hope this Joyce can sort them out.

Loved the mother/daughter talk. Joyce had a good eye for Buffy's condition too. Good advice, I hope Buffy will take it to her heart.

Oh that was good Joyce sure told her. I hope Spike really isn't thinking of Faith and that he comes looking for Buffy too.

Glad to see that Spike is still in love with Buffy; but Buffy didn't see it. Spike will have some work to do to convince her. And Joyce is back? I wonder if that is connected to the portal gone.

Oh no she need to go back and fight for Spike he thinks she left him and doesn't want him. I hope Joyce can make her see what is right in front of her.
