Have to say, I was actually thinking you'd be different and fairytaleish, having Giles and Joyce thinking for years that Spike and Buffy would belong together. Alas, no, and I don't blame Spike from running one little bit. What Giles said...I don't care that he's the parent. that should make it more illegal to call your own child sick, especially without any explanation. Well written.

Okay, that was a little uncalled for. I knew Spike wouldn't be able to handle it and I could smack Giles right now. God, there's nothing wrong with it and I just wish they could understand that. I hope they come to their senses or they may just lose both of their kids. I was kinda hoping that they wouldn't react that bad though, but there is angst for a reason, as much as I hate the angst. Yeah, really not a fan of it. Well, hope you have more soon.

Being the optimist that I am, I had hoped when I began reading that Giles and Joyce would react a little better than they did. Instead, I currently wish to jab out their eyes with hot pokers (okay, that is a little too harsh maybe). Poor Spike! He was so ready to tell them and they totally crushed his confidence. I hope Giles and Joyce get over their prejudices real quick or poor Buffy is gonna end up in real therapy along with Spike. A highly emotional chapter; I loved it! I can't wait to see what happens when Buffy locates Spike.

*sigh* It seems it was a bit of shock for Joyce and Giles - the overreacted... not so good for Spike. He was making baby steps in the right direction! Hopefully Buffy will reach him before he does something stupid! :)

Can I just say aww? That was a really cute chapter and I love it when Spike expresses his feelings like that. I'm glad that Tara is being so understanding and letting him know that he's not doing anything wrong. I hope you have more flashbacks. I love seeing how they reacted to each other back then.
