Yes. This is what true love must be like. Whatīs amazing of the story (or, rather, this stream of consciousness) is that you find exactly the right words to describe feelings without exaggerating. Seeing Spike like this is quite new to me, and I think that you completely UNDERSTAND the character Joss Whedon has created -- well, maybe you understand him even better. If I think about it, itīs true: It has always been love what Spike was looking for. The whole time. Thank you, again, for a great piece of work, itīs so nice and sweet, I really like it. I'm a latecomer to this site and your stories, but I just have to tell you how much I have enjoyed them (Daylight and this piece) thus far. When I read the line "And she's not even a month old.", I literally gasped and very nearly cried. Just too, too sweet! And exactly the type of resolution I needed for their story.
