Yay update! You have me hooked to this story. I think you have made it understandable why she is conflicted but I can't wait until she snaps out of it. :-) As for Palerider's story, thanks to Cordykitten I found it at: http://forever.hybrid-genesis.com/fictions/finished/palerider_curiosity.html. I hope Palerider puts it back up on her site (where I read it) because it's a great story.

Still angsty--but no complaints from me! No use writing a fic if you're going to make it easy on the readers :) This is one of my favourite fics, and the choices you've put in front of Buffy are very difficult for her. You've written an amazing piece of fiction and I can't wait for the next update!

WOW! Great chapter. I think Buffy is silly. She can't continue playing girlfriend (and now fiancée to Angel) and at the same time longing (and playing with) for Spike. I hope she'll open her eyes soon. She shouldn't have agreed only because she was in front of that much strangers. They didn't invite her for her own party. Well, I don't think it regular to have a secred "wedding" engagement party. And I think Spike feels slapped in his face too seeing her accepting Angel "will you marry me". I loved the update! Could Buffy be any more foolish? Although you've explained Buffy's twisted sense of duty, I just don't get it, it's not as though Angel saved her life or something. Please give Buffy a backbone. And does she really expect Spike to remain in the sidelines or be second best?

I think sites like this, Blondiebear, Spuffy Fantasy, and Sinister Attraction make me feel better and not so trapped by the Bangel wall. Plus when authors like you write such great stories, it keeps me encouraged. :-)
