O.k...Im confused...I just read the other story that is suppose to be with this one...and Spike was away for 16 years...whats going on? What did I miss? I like the storyline in both stories though.

{beams and giggles in delight} YEAH!! He proposed. I loved this chapter. Spike going around to ask Giles and Xander was a nice touch as well. It helped to show how the characters had accepted or changed to accept Spike in Buffy's life. You are really doing a great job with this one and the parallel story that focuses on what would have happened if he hadn't come back right away.

Both fics are really nicely written and I like them both. However, I might be a little more partial to this --just because it seems so sad that Buffy & Spike would have missed out on 16 years together!!! Keep up the good work!!

Although I love that Giles is there and cool about it all in the other parallel fic ... I like that Spike is there better. I hope things work out for both of them. Heck I hope they work out for both of them in the other one too. I'll keep reading both. You are pretty brave to do both at the same time, and I like that. Nice work
