Really sweet story, i always love the easy flow of your dialog.

One technical point? Spike pointing out that some of the kids not knowing what an advent calendar is due to their lack of Sunday school... Is this a religious setting? Couldn't the other students simply not be Christian? Not to mention the fact that the children are only doing Santa faces? Public schools right now would not have only one religion represented during holiday time. Believe me, Elementary school teacher here.
