Really good. Wish there'd been a bit more discussion between Buffy and Spike about their relationship... seemed like it was just understood between them.... and those characters aren't really good at that in general, LOL. Felt we missed a lot of the development. But I did enjoy the read.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. They may have a discussion later - or had one during the time Spike was healing. There was talking to be done, for sure, but it didn't seem necessary for us to sit in on it. The fact that they immediately understood how they felt about each other seemed the most important thing while demons were attacking. It's possible that was just me feeling like I'd written some version of that conversation too many times already and not realizing it was important to this story too. Bit lazy on my part maybe?

Loved it again!
When reading the summary i thought: no way buffy is gonna let a vamp stay! Or doesnt know its spike (yeah kinda guessed that off the bat :p) but you actually made it very believable. Great writing!

I had actually toyed with having Buffy meet a new vampire (maybe one with Spike's soul?) or something - but then, of course, I couldn't have posted it here. But I knew everyone would expect it to be Spike, so that's the direction I went in.

A truly sneaky proposal. Glad she took it when she got the chance. And that Dawn and Xander are going to be happy together. And that Giles and Buffy and Spike all seemed to make their peace. Sometimes two people are just meant to be. Pretty darn awesome. Thanks for sharing.

No I didn't forget :-) The feeling in this story has been great. The characters has behaved in a believable way true to themself. Of course Buffy didn't like how Giles has acted but now things are mending. A perfect ending, everyone is happy and accepting and the future seems bright. Just the way I like it.
