Lovely story. This is the Buffy I always prayed we see. Finally knowing what and who she wanted.
Just a shame Spike had to go through that hell. She's just lucky Spike loves her so much. I know he's wanted to kill her many a time.

There was a feeling of sadness over this chapter. It's good when Spike show some backbone.

Spike feels so deeply, that that saying 'sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me' is the exact opposite for him, isn't it? Buffy's deliberate verbal cruelty nearly broke him. And of course we knew Buffy loved him, or she wouldn't have been jealous of the girl at the wedding that wasn't, or Anya, or Faith in the basement. The way you made her realise that, without involving him boinking Anya, was brilliant.
