Really lame reason why she takes the beatings. He does it over and over and she stooped reporting him cause it was easier? I don't like this part I think it's weak but I do like everything g else so far and I'll keep reading.

Pretty good story! Has some need for editing to be truly great. I do like that Buffy defended herself, but the domestic violence/rape/Spike's retaliation seemed rushed overall. But I understand it's hard to get through so much heavy subject matter and keep the story a romance... I think I'd have toned down the abuse/rape stuff and left Riley's big villainy to be what he did to Angel. That way, one doesn't question why Buffy, if she's so strong-willed, would let Riley get away withall that (the explanation in the story was a little thin). But overall, good story.

Another great story from Ashlee :) What I liked the most is that Buffy wasn't a damsel in distress but rather gave Riley everything she got, without Spike's help.

I don't know. It was good, but kind of too corny to have the Riley beating Buffy scenes in and I guess the writing could have abeen a bit stronger along with the plot. I guess the story just didn't do it for me. I'm more into the melodramatic, drug-addict, depressing stories with the dramtic writing like what Mrs. Muir writes. But, I suppose anybody who's into the happy-happy-joy-joy type would really like this story. But, I was pleased to see good grammar. I'm a grammar addict! Bad quotations, spelling, ect. just drives me up the wall.
