My God, Joyce can sleep through anything, can't she? Well, my imagination is them meeting up again in the cemetery to have more naughty sex, and Buffy realizing that it's more right than wrong. She develops real feelings for him, Spike admits that he's in love with her, and they take on Angelus and Dru together, as it should be. I really want that sequel...lol! I suppose it was a good enough ending, though. He left her a little birthday cupcake and everything.

Aw, poor Buffy kicked Spike out. Though she would be confused. vampire=bad, Spike=vampire so Spike=bad. But I would like to think Buffy's heart would be thawed by Spike soon. Great fic.

Hee, cute: “Wait, stop!” Buffy pushed him away again, heart pounding from lust, with a healthy side order of fear and nerves, fear from having an evil soulless vampire next to her jugular. All her experience and training and reading, well, the reading she was supposed to have done, told her that an evil vampire by her neck was definitely, definitely not okay.
I like how Buffy isn't a tease, she's just confused and remembering Spike is a vampire. But yeah, Spike got her to welcome him in. I love the dialogue.

Oh very nice. Very hot. I love the way Spike keeps being... er... Spikeish and then when he puts his foot in his mouth yet again he feels bad about it and reassures her, even though he's confused about why he should feel bad about hurting her. Very reminiscent of season 5 Spike when he's still in angry denial about his feelings for her...
