Just wanted to say how much I love this story. You do a great job of getting into the characters heads; and very believably explore their interactions and modivations. I particularly liked this bit: "His reflection was staring at him now, watching him like a voyeur. He didn't like it, didn't like being held up for examination to his own eyes. After so many years without one, it was unsettling, something that shouldn't be there. He barely knew his own face anymore." Really well done!

i so want to believe that really is cordy and angels not hallucinating or being tricked and that they're going to anchor his soul or something... but hmm... i'm feeling suspicious. If it is true, then my responce is "awww!!!!!!!! i love cordy and angel together!!" and if it's all a bit of a trick then it's "oooohhh. what's gonna happen?!?!" either way, good chapter, lol. spike and giles playing crash bandicoot was funny. i love that game!

Ahhhhhhh I finished it, well what you have written so far *laughs*..um can you write more like soon,because I need to know what happens. *grins* I am really enjoying this story. Angel having to deal with his dipshittedness, his i am stupid vampiredness, and should be dust (i hope). Willow admitting her wrong doings. Now for the good stuff. I read your rant in your AN, I agree with you here. I like how you are building up to a possible Spuffy interaction. They really needed to get things out and still do there is alot of unsaid things between them. Before they get all horizontal hokey pokey things do need to get out in the open. Thank you for doing it this way. Although I never watched a single episode of Angel(because i hate him that much) you still write a great story. Congrats on the college graduation and the A's. So like you don't have to take another final for awhile, ummm so get writing *grins* Great story update soon

Congrats! so happy to hear of your collegate conquest! Love the update - worth waiting for. I loved the Willow/Buffy talk and I'm so heartachy for Buffy and Spike being so indecisive with how they feel about each other. Poor babies! Can't wait to see how/if they resolve this situation. Can't believe Angel and his attitude toward Spike (but then I never did understand how that acceptance of Angel over Spike in the series - I always thought Spike was better cause soul or no soul, he loved and tried and succeeded - Angel? not so much) Well, bottom line- Love the tale, love the update, happy for you with college behind you and craving more updates soon. Welcome back to the world of the Spuffy... And congrats on the graduating thing, I wish you good weather on the day and much luck for the future. And now onto the important stuff... Really great chapter. I love how Buffy and Spike can go from being so hopelessly awkward around one another to being completely couplely. I think that's what happens when their's not really closure for the relationship, and though going up in flames and ashes is pretty finite, in this world, we all really know better. And, if those two could just be completely honest with their feelings... well they'd be a lot happier, and we'd have a lot less story. (And I love a good story.) Say "hi" to your muse for me, and update soon!

Okay, admit it, I made you laugh (and hopefully anyone else reading these). The real deal this time. I love the juxtaposition of the framing conversations, between Willow and Angel and then at the end between Buffy and Willow. Very real, and for once on Willow's part, self reflection about what she'd done in the past -- the way she didn't support Buffy. It just highlights the lack of same from Sir Broodypants. And the Buffy - Spike moments in between were wrenching in a way, but a good way. They love each other. Truly, madly and deeply. But they've also hurt each other -- and truly, neither one of them should think -- they should just feel. Trust your feelings Luke . . I mean Spike and Buffy. They will always lead you back to each other. Maybe they need an Obi Wan.

It's great to see an update, and congrats on your graduation. Good for Willow to set Angel straight as to who's more trustworthy in comparing him to Spike despite her own misgivings about B&S. I liked W reconsidering both her words and attitude towards B and S/B and deciding to do something about it by talking and apologizing to B. It was a very realistic look at the W&B relationship, and it's so true it will never be the same again. S&B are both so vulnerable and scared -- again, it feels real.

So good to see an update and I truly enjoyed this new chapter. I'm glad that Willow and Angel both were reminded of their wrongdoings, though it seems WIllow is the only one so far to own up to it. And, as usual, Buffy and Spike are drving me crazy, but in that really good way :) And don't worry about the wait, it was worth it. I know I'm certainly still interested in *all* your fic and many congrats on graduation. Can't wait for more!
