I am following this series devotedly, but I have been using my PDA - it is ridiculously time consuming just to type out one sentence so I am catching up on my reviewing while I have a keyboard in front of me.
That being said....I think William is just adorable and very innocently naive (very attractive qualities.) The pairing of Buffy and Cordelia was well chosen, with them both having strong and sexy personalities. And the coat! Finally the coat (love that leather smell!) Looking forward to more.

I don't think the bitch squad knows what they're in for. Now it's 3 against 3...even playing field. Still trying to figure out all the maintenance men's identities. This is the first time I have encountered your story, and I think it is very heartfelt and thought-provoking. The fact that Spike witnessed one if her most horrible and humiliating moments in her life can only play more into this story. I fleetingly wondered at first why he didn't step in when he first saw what was happening, but seriously, how do you fight a crazily insane father with a knife?
Spike's feelings for her were apparent before he needed to rescue her, so I believe there is a chance for them to survive (hopefully!) But anything can happen at this point, can't it?

I only was away for a day or two, and several chapters went up. You're just cranking them out! I knew they would get to engagement earlier than most - she has had to grow up awfully fast, and he just fell for her completely. I'm glad for her emancipation, but Hank was really a crappy father if he never even noticed she was right nearby, lol. Drunks can be totally clueless, can't they?

Spike is just breaking my heart. He is so soft and vulnerable under his "Big Bad" exterior. Being scared must be totally overwhelming for him. Unfortunately, I am also feeling sorry for Rowan - I just don't know how Spike will react to him if he ever sees him again. He obviously knows it was Rowan's fault, as it was HIS house and HIS basement he entered.

I like this! It is interesting that the PTB chose to let her keep her own memories of the day. ok...something is definitely going to happen. It's totally freaking me out. Get on with it! I can't handle suspense well. My thought is that the social worker is a (demon) plant of some kind, and that is how they are going to be thrust into the other world/dimension. The social worker has a Hamiltonesque (Angel) vibe about him, to me. Get on with it!!!
