Wow. Just wow. I really, really liked this. It was hot, of course, and I was all expecting it to be AU, and then it wasn't, which made the whole thing even better. This was a really good story, thank for it.
Summary: A person's greatest strength is often revealed when no one is around to see it. Post-Showtime, Xander and Buffy have a conversation. If you like, this piece can fit with Remember, Believe, and Rest, but it isn't necessary to read the two together.

I liked this. It's important to focus on friendships as much as romantic relationships, and it bothers me that a lot of fanfiction dismisses friendships as "just friends". Love is love, whether it's sexual/romantic or not. So... thanks for this.

This was a really cute story. I was smiling almost all the way through it, and I outright laughed at the pictures. It could certainly have been cannon, though I think Buffy might have fought her memories a LITTLE bit more. Oh, and I LOVED Joyce's opinion of Spike vs. Angel. Spot on.

Don't know about the thank you at the end of section two. On the whole, the exchange seemed more fond than I remember from cannon. Inner thoughts and feelings aren't nessessarily the things we say and do, and I think you could have made it more subtle and still gotten the message across. But on the whole, a good story -- it does clear up why they kept Spike as long as they did, and made some wonderful jokes about the "spell" they were under. Well done.
