Ahh, I just watched Seeing Red so it's nice to re-read this one and try to feel a wee bit better. I wonder if those to patching things up would have changed anything?

Author's Response: Well, for starters, Spike would have had no reason to get his soul, so I'd say, yes, it would have changed a lot. Might be something fun to explore - how would the rest of season 6 and all of season 7 gone without that? I'm glad it made you feel a little better. That was my goal when I wrote it - to make myself feel better. ;)

Wonderful!

That was a much better ending to that heart-breaking episode. Although I have to say, no matter how much I love the spuffy goodness of season six, sometimes I really want Spike to say '"screw that" and leave (athough he would probably use a *different* phrase). She's so unfair to him.

Anyway...fantastic job!

Wonderful story. If only it could have happened that way on the show. I loved the last line "Someday you'll know too." Very bittersweet.

That was AWESOME!!! The way it should have gone. I would love to see a sequel. You have wondeful voices for Buffy and Spike in all of your stories, and this one was so bitter sweet. It brought tears to my eyes. (I Love stories that make me cry cause I am such a sap!!)
